Meridian Farms is pleased to announce our strong lineup of stallions for 2015 at our farm in High River, Alberta.
Vertical Horizon p,1.49.3 $860,588 returns for his second season at stud in 2015. This son of Western Ideal had an excellent racing career highlighted by victories in the Progress Pace, Bluegrass Stake and Jersey Cup.
He provides breeders in western Canada with access to the strong, high speed Western Hanover stallion line.
Wink N Atcha p,1.50.4 $601,447 also returns for his second season in 2015. This handsome and sure son of Dragon Again had multiple stakes wins. We believe his looks, conformation, modern breeding and solid race record will give him ability to sire high speed,stakes winning horses in western Canada.
Riverboat King p,1.48.3 $1,234,576 needs no introduction to breeders. This son of Cams Card Shark has already sired winners of over $14.7 million including the outstanding Androvette p,1.48 $3,124,551 and 33 winners of over $100,000. We believe Riverboat King provides a great cross to As Promised mares and we look forward to his first year in western Canada.
Trust The Artist p,1.50.2 $587,521 has been one of the finest horses to ever race in Alberta. Already the producer of stakes winner Pablos First from his first racing crop, Trust The Artist stands to become a real impact stallion in western Canada.
Mystery Chase p,3,1.49.2 $774,677 will see his first crop race in 2015. Mystery Chase began stallion duty after successfully competing against an extremely talented group of horses including Somebeachsomewhere, Shadow Play, Art Official, Dali, Badlands Nitro and Blueridge Western.

Pacing Stallion Roster 2015 - Meridian Farms East
This year we will stand three remarkable pacing stallions at Meridian Farms in Milton, Prince Edward Island.
Ameripan Gigolo p,1.50 $470,996 had a tremendous, high impact year in Atlantic Canada in 2014 led by the regions top two year old Dixieland Band p,2,1.58.1 $50,952 and the very good filly Dusty Lane Bria p,2,1.58 $36,982. He stood among the best sires in Canada of two and three year olds a very high percentage of starters and winners.
Camystic p,1.49.4 $779,778 returns to Prince Edward Island where his first Atlantic Canada crop was very well received at the Atlantic Classic and NSPE sales. Camystic had a solid season in 2014 led by multiple stakes winners Nighttraintovegas p,3,1.53.2 $177,825 and Fire Watch p,2,1.56.4 $60,720.
Driven To Win p,1.49.3 $991,493 is remembered in Atlantic Canada for a Gold Cup and Saucer victory. His first Atlantic Canada crop including stakes winners Elm Grove Joanette p,2,2.00h, Ubettowin p,2,2.01h, Miss Oromocto p,2,2.01.4h and REs Reese p,2,2.02.3h are creating memories of their own.
Westwardho Hanover p,3,1.49.1 $691,023 began his stallion service in 2014 after a racing career highlighted by victories in the Progress Pace and Cleveland Classic. His first book of mares filled rapidly with an ultimate book of 93 mares. Westwardho Hanover returns for his second season in 2015.

Trotting Stallion Roster - 2015 - Meridian Farms East
Meridian Farms is pleased to announce our trotting stallions for 2015 including the return of our popular stallions Armbro Barrister and Tad The Stud and the addition of Delcrest Julian to our roster.
Armbro Barrister 1.53.1 $1,039,123 is Atlantic Canada's richest trotting stallion. The multiple stakes winning son of Malabar Man returns for his second season in 2015.
Delcrest Julian 1.53.3 $412,512 begins his stallion career at Meridian Farms. The young multiple stakes winner brings the explosive Valley Victory sire line to Atlantic Canada.
Tad The Stud 1.54.4 $228,354 returns for his third season after having produced a first foal crop of excellent individuals. This young son of Windsongs Legacy hails from one of the strongest and deepest maternal families in racing.
