Meridian Farms is pleased to announce that Metro Pace winner Mystician p,2,1.52,3,1.49.2 $1,944,962 will be standing his first season at stud at our farm in High River, Alberta. This son of the great Camluck was phenomenal at two winnng the Metro Pace against the best two year olds in North America. He went on to carry his speed and toughness at three with multiple stakes wins and as an aged horse with victories against open competition. Trust The Artist is argueably one of the best horses to ever race in western Canada. From very limited opportunity he has produced two stakes winners from six foals of racing age. Meridian Farms has a strong roster of trotting stallions for Atlantic Canada in 2016.
Armbro Barrister won over a million dollars in a career that was highlighted by a world record performance on a 5/8 mile track, stakes victories at two and three including the Zweig Memorial and Galt Trot and multiple open trot victories. His first crop will sell this fall and they look great.
Neal had an outstanding debut with his first two year old crop in Atlantic Canada in 2015. Seven of eight foals started and five were stakes winners including the undefeated High Bid 2,2.04.4 $24,320. This year we will be breeding Neal to a select book of mares by live cover. Please book early.
Tad The Stud offered his first crop of yearlings at the 2015 Atlantic Classic and NSPE sales. By all reports they are training down well and we look forward to their impact in Atlantic trotting stakes in 2016.
